LINDENHURST, NY — Three vehicles at a car dealership in Amityville went up in flames Monday night, according to the Amityville Fire Department. Firefighters responded to reports of multiple cars on fire at 10:20 p.m. at the Security Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM car dealership, located at 345 Merrick Road, officials said. No people were harmed in the fire, the Amityville FD said. At least three cars were burned, officials said, and the fire was placed under control within 20 minutes. Copiague Fire Department also assisted with the fire. According to Amityville Police Department, a total of five vehicles were involved in the event, and arson is not suspected at this time.
