Introduction to Tapestry Weaving Tapestry is an ancient form of weaving and is frequently referred to as “painting with fiber”. From the classic Navajo style to contemporary design, the possibilities for creativity are endless with tapestry. In this intro course, students will learn joining techniques in order to weave their own designs, and understand the basic techniques of tapestry weaving. Students will create a small tapestry by the end of the class. No previous experience is necessary. $110 3 hours -10am.-1pm Materials fee: $15 Maximum students: 4
