Sid Grinker Restoration, a local expert in multi-family and commercial property restoration is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter. This position will cover many tasks within finish carpentry but will have an emphasis on trim, cabinet, and door installation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years experience. We offer a compensation package that includes a generous hourly wage, health, dental and vision insurance (available upon job start), and 401k match. This role offers full-time, permanent employment and overtime hours. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: • Fitting and installing and/or repairing windows, window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, and interior and exterior trim. • Installing and/or repairing foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, railings, and roofs using a variety of materials (drywall, asphalt shingles, etc). • Shaping, cutting and installing materials using hand tools, machines, or power saws and power tools. • Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment. • Other tasks as assigned Additional qualifications for this role include: • 4+ years experience in finish carpentry • Rough carpentry experience a plus • Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw • Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time • Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds • Knowledge of lumber grades and countertop materials
