LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A man was arrested and charged with attempted murder after he was accused of stabbing a family member in Sterling on Tuesday night, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The man, who police identified as Barron Maness, is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. The assault occurred at the Village at Potomac Falls apartment complex in Sterling, police said. Authorities responded to the scene around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, according to a report published by the sheriff's office. "The suspect and the victim, who are family members, were involved in an argument when the suspect stabbed the victim and threatened two other occupants of the home, including a child," the sheriff's office said.
