Description
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Ocean County College faculty, staff and students will either have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested weekly on campus for the spring semester.
The college announced the vaccine mandate on its website and on its Facebook page on Wednesday.
The announcement said the testing on campus would be at no charge, and that additional details would be announced soon on the Ocean County College website.
OCC has required all students and staff to wear masks indoors during the fall semester, but did not require COVID-19 vaccinations at that time, though they were strongly recommended.
Vaccinations only were required for students and faculty in the Nursing and Allied Health programs because those students and staff had to comply with vaccine mandates adopted by clinical sites.
