Multiple Brush Fires Breakout Near 210 Freeway In Pasadena

PASADENA, CA — At least three brushfires were spotted near the westbound 210 Freeway in Pasadena Tuesday afternoon. The fires were reported around 1:30 p.m. just east of Lake Avenue, and were said to be "in close proximity" to one another, Pasadena spokeswoman Lisa Derderian said. It's not known how big the fires were. Traffic on the freeway was partially impacted by the fires, she said. The fires' cause was not immediately known. City News Service contributed to this report.
