Their first goal is to urge members of the Bradley community to get vaccinated. By receiving the vaccine themselves, they're setting an example and urging others to do the same. Another goal of the campaign is to raise funds. To do this, two Bradley students came up with a logo (viewable via the attachment) to use on T-shirts, sweatshirts, cell phones cases and more. Bradley nursing student Hannah Marshall, of Plainfield, IL, was the visionary behind the logo. She imagined a design that would feature the university's mascot, Kaboom!, posing as World War II advertising icon "Rosie the Riveter" to evoke a sense of pride in people doing their part to slow the spread of COVID-19. Paired with the design is the slogan "Protecting you and me on the Hilltop - Vaccinated Bradley." Marshall teamed up with Anna Margarites, an entrepreneurship student minoring in graphic design from Libertyville, IL, to bring the idea to life. Their finished product is currently being sold on the University Tees website. Proceeds will go toward helping nursing students who need financial assistance for textbooks, computers, NCLEX prep courses and other essentials; it will also support sending the Bradley Nursing Student Association (BNSA) executive committee to the National Student Nurse Association Conference, an annual conference in which students are required to pay to participate. — Merit Page News Local student enrolls at SUNY Delhi Local student Molly Stevens of Plainfield has enrolled at SUNY Delhi.
