This program is all about learning how to prepare for anything and how to make nature your friend by sharpening our survival skills. Wilderness Survival - Level 4This is our 4th class in the wilderness survival progression. Those who have taken completed the first 3 levels of wilderness survival will have many life saving skills. As you've realized by now, they all take a ton of practice. Should you ever get lost in the forest though, they are the people you want to be lost with. The wilderness is a place where nature is in charge. Weather, injuries, unexpected problems and situations can put even experienced people at risk. This program is all about learning how to prepare for anything and how to make nature your friend. These skills are available to everyone if they know how to recognize and use them. Our goal: Have fun.Answer your questions. Have a great time exploring together. Share a practice of awareness and safety. Focus on hands-on learning. We will:Learn the basic tenants of survival in the backcountry. Build a shelter. Light a one-match fire.Identify something edible in nature and how to find it.Learn about different ways to survive in extreme situations.
