Man Crashes Into Burnsville Building While Fleeing Police: Report

BURNSVILLE, MN — Officials are investigating an incident that occurred early Wednesday morning in which a man who was fleeing police crashed into a building in Burnsville, according to a report from Fox 9. The driver appeared to be impaired and a blood sample was taken after he was arrested, according to the report. A Minnesota State Patrol trooper was driving south on Highway 77 in Eagan just before 1:30 a.m. when they saw a truck weaving in and out of lane lines, the report said. The driver of the F-150 sped off when the trooper tried to pull him over, exiting onto Diffley Road, according to the report. The driver eventually got back onto Highway 77 and exited onto County Road 38, where he crashed into a building on the intersection of that road and County Road 5, according to the report.
