Press release from the University of Alabama: Caroline Gazzara-McKenzie, UA Strategic Communications, [email protected] October 20th, 2021 TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama has named its 2021 homecoming court with five candidates after a student election. On Friday, Oct. 22, the homecoming queen will be announced at the annual bonfire. The candidates are: Laney Ackles, Noelle Fall, Montana Fouts, Savanah Lemon and McLean Moore. Laney Ackles' platform brings attention to Tuscaloosa's Arts 'n Autism program. Noelle Fall is partnering with Culverhouse DEI Mentoring and Diversity in the Business Bridge Program. Montana Fouts, known for being on the softball pitch, aims to Be the Blessing for campus, bringing enthusiasm to not only athletics, but in day-to-day life. Savanah Lemon is working with the Boys and Girls Club of Tuscaloosa, connecting UA athletes with youth in the Tuscaloosa community. McLean Moore's platform is Big Brother Big Sisters of Tuscaloosa, a program that matches young adults with youth in the community. This press release was produced by the University of Alabama.
