TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa man has been charged with trafficking marijuana and other charges after a bust by the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force seized more than five pounds of pot and a stolen pistol Tuesday morning. Click here to subscribe to our free Tuscaloosa Daily newsletter and breaking news alerts According to a release from the Task Force, a search warrant was carried out at a home in the 2200 block of 10th Avenue Tuesday morning, resulting in agents seizing 5.6 pounds of vacuum-sealed marijuana and a stolen Glock .45 pistol. Deandre Barron, 20, was charged with trafficking marijuana, felon in possession of a firearm, failure to affix a tax stamp and second-degree receiving stolen property.
