WOBURN, MA — Lexington residents should feel confident about their home, as the small, Middlesex community has been ranked in the 95th percentile of small cities in the United States by personal-finance website Wallethub Tuesday.
The ranking was based on "43 key indicators of livability" in 5 categories: affordability, economic health, education and health, quality of life and safety. The ranking measures 1,300 U.S. cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000.
Woburn's best performance was in education and health, which it ranked 11th out of the more than 1,000 cities compared.

Woburn also ranked in the top 100 in safety, coming in at number 95. It ranked 173rd in economic health, 478th in quality of life and 841 in affordability, for a total score of 67.05.
The top score, 72.55, was earned by Sammamish, Washington.
Eight Massachusetts communities were in the top 20, with Lexington leading the state at number 4 nationwide. It beat Reading which came in at number 5, Milton which placed 8th, Melrose in 9th, Arlington 14th, and Newton and Needham tying for 16th place.
Carmel, Indiana, and Brentwood, Tennessee rounded out the top three in the nation.
