Metalcore band in search of a versatile vocalist to complete our lineup. We are in our early-mid 30s and are extremely committed to music and taking this band as far as possible. All of us have played many shows and have plenty of experience writing and recording. We want to create opportunities for ourselves rather than waiting for “the big break” by working hard and growing through extensive marketing, perfecting our recordings/mixes, relentless networking, and collectively becoming better overall musicians. We are extremely transparent with eachother and constantly try to make each song fresh and different from the previous, while still staying true to our core sound (heavy, melodic, unpredictable, etc). We are looking for a vocalist who is proficient in both singing and screaming. Stylistic and tonal ‘fit’ is extremely important to us, along with the the ability to write catchy hooks and melodies (Jesse/Howard from Killswitch, Oli Sykes from BMTH, Matt Tuck from BFMV to name a few). Reliability, dedication, and energetic stage presence is an absolute must. Currently, we practice 1-2 times per week at the drummers house in Union Beach NJ, but we believe that distance shouldn’t be an issue. This band will only go as far as the work that all of us put in separately on our spare time. Even though we would like for the vocalist to be present as much as possible, a singer can realistically write and record on their own and come to practice once or twice per month (if distance is an issue). Our influences include, but are not limited to: Pantera, I Prevail, Ice Nine Kills, BFMV, Killswitch, Architects, Slipknot, Wage War, Currents, BMTH, etc. Below are 3 demos that we’ve put together to give you an idea of what we sound like. We currently have 16 songs in total that all of us are extremely excited about, so more demos can be provided upon request.
