Job Summary Clear Construction is a growing general contracting company specializing in high-end residential Construction serving Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties. We seek an efficient, communicative, and safety-minded skilled laborer to participate in the day-to-day, on-site activities and work collaboratively with the construction team. Applicants should have residential construction industry experience and access to reliable transportation. Responsibilities • Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites • Lift heavy loads to 80 lbs. and navigate construction job site terrain • Dig pits, trenches, and foundations in preparation for job site construction • Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary • Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement • mixers, small mechanical hoists, hammer, Sawzall, Skilsaw, and a variety of other equipment • Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site • Clean and prepare sites, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials • Project errands including pick-up and drop off tools and materials • Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew Skills • Strong understanding of the building process • Capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely • Attention to detail and high-quality standards • Organizational skills • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Self-motivated problem solver • Familiar with industry safety standards • Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures Experience - 2 to 7 years of construction industry experience (preferred) will train the right person. - High school diploma/GED Compensation - Competitive pay—commensurate with experience - Consistent work schedule - Based on experience and skills - Opportunity for growth Benefits - Great team environment - Paid Time Off - Eligible for health insurance benefits www.clearconstruction.com
