What happens to a wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education organization when two disasters collide? Double chaos. From a double-dose of bats in our care to a quadrupled number of phone calls after an inland hurricane (once the power was back on) to volunteers shifting in and out of quarantine, the Iowa Wildlife Center humans were given lessons in humility, resilience, healing, and belief in our capabilities. Come along for the ride, and take a peek at some wonderful changes just around the bend. Admission to the program at 6:45 p.m. is FREE and open to the public! Doors open at 5:30, with an open bar. Dinner is available and service begins at 6.
