Howdy, Darlene And The Boys a well established classic country band is seeking a bassist/vocalist. Our current bass player and singer is relocating to Alabama to be near his son. What we are looking for: A musician that is well seasoned in the genre of traditional country music: Loretta Lynn; Johnny Cash, typically country music of the 50's - 90's with a few exceptions of some newer country, some classic rock and country gospel. Easy going personality. No ego or drama. A team player. We take pride in our stage attire for our performances-certainly not flamboyant, but neat and respectful. Must be willing to do some distant travel as we have some gigs in casinos in UP Michigan, and other locations that may require some extensive travel periodically. We perform for summer park concerts; county fairs, some casinos; Minnesota State Fair, and other events. 99% free of bar gigs.
