* IMMEDIATE HIRE * Service Center Worker STAT-MED is a busy Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Company in business for 24 years located in North Phoenix (101 and I-17). We are seeking a full-time Service Center Worker to perform various tasks to start IMMEDIATELY. Compensation: $16.00 per Hour, Sick Time, Vacation Time, 401K FULL TIME SERVICE CENTER WORKER DUTIES: * 5 days (40 hours) per week, Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5pm. * Equipment Cleaning and Preparation. * Disinfection and laundering of equipment according to written cleaning protocol. * Filling and emptying up to 1200 lbs of medical grade beads (sand) in/out of decontamination units, utilizing buckets (~25 lbs at a time). *Quality check products via a checklist of medical equipment features with minor repairs, adjustments, and cosmetic issues addressed. *Cleaners may ride along with Service Technician to assist with two-person deliveries and set-ups, as needed. FULL TIME SERVICE CENTER WORKER REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: * Moving pieces of wheeled medical equipment that weigh 200 lbs. to 2000 lbs. Equipment is moved from the service center, loaded and strapped on to a truck, and delivered to a healthcare facility or patients home. *Obstructions that may be encountered when moving heavy equipment include sloped surfaces, parking lots, doors, door thresholds, elevators, and padded carpet. * Lifting equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
