Local Tree Nut production company is looking for a Warehouse Associate to assist with their Production and Shipping/Receiving. This is a FULL TIME, long term position with room for growth. PLEASE NOTE: Applicants should not have any nut allergies. Job Function: The Warehouse Associate (W.A.) is responsible for completing daily warehouse order fulfillment including daily documentation and sanitation, as well as assisting with shipping or other projects assigned. The W.A. will also assist Senior Production Associates (S.P.A.) and/or Warehouse Leads (W.L.) with other warehouse tasks and projects as assigned. Responsibilities: Product Order Fulfillment (Wholesale Orders, Inventory Transfer Orders) Product Packaging (Case Packing, Switching Boxes) Shipping (Palletizing Orders, Packaging Shipments) Receiving (Bulk Product, Warehouse Supplies) Stocking & Rotation Labeling Packaging & Boxing Products General Sanitation and Daily Cleaning Duties May assist S.P.A. or W.L. with Nut Butter Milling/Processing, Roasting Process, or Inventory Control as needed All other duties or tasks assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: This position requires the ability to frequently lift, move, or transport boxes or equipment weighing up to 75 LBS. Ability to work in varying temperatures. Ability to squat, bend, stoop and climb a ladder. Candidate should be detail oriented. Candidate should understand basic math. Candidate should be safety conscious. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work and communicate respectfully with others. Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or Manufacturing Safety is a plus. Experience using a Pallet Jack or Forklift is a plus, but not required.
