Texas Area Telecom is a leader in quality Telecom Infrastructure Design headquartered in Austin, Texas and doing projects all over the country. We are expanding our fielding team and looking for team members that are eager to learn the telecom industry and grow their career with our company. We are seeking team members living in the central Texas area including Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. This is an entry level position. Depending on your experience, we will work with the right candidate who wants to learn more or start in the industry of telecom. Experience in surveying, general construction or cabling a plus. This position requires traveling to different areas of the country, working outside collecting field data used to permit networking projects. Every day will be different in this role – always new places to see and design to learn. You will get to see all different parts of the country and must be willing to travel up to 70% of your work week for this position. Working remotely requires being able to self start your day and work independently while always reporting production daily to your manager and keeping continued communication with your team.
