But Matt York understands the necessary hustle of the modern music game. After releasing his latest solo record Boston, Texas earlier this year, the Foxborough native and emerging voice on the New England scene has unveiled a series of new singles in recent months. In addition to efforts on Anngelle Wood’s Keep Safe Boston compilation and Noisetrade’s Outlaw Roadshow mixtape, York returns this morning with a proper recording of a recent live staple. It’s called “Birds”, and you can hear it below. “Birds” was recorded earlier this year at Seasound Audio in Plymouth, and was produced by Mark Bryant.
