Hiring Immediately! Christmas in Color, presented by Wonder Entertainment, seeks general SITE MANAGER labor to help lead the set-up, maintenance, and future teardown of a mega interactive Christmas drive-thru light show display from October to end of January. The event will be held at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, PA. Christmas in Color is looking to hire a motivated Site Manager that is skilled, self-starter, and has a positive attitude to contribute to this event's success! As a Site Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to set up metal structures, hang lights, and perform various general tasks. Our Site Manager will give direction and instructions. Duties include any of the following categories but are not limited to: Provide leadership, mentor, and manage site-based crew Develop and implement reliability plans that support increasing the uptime of the attraction. Drive build best practices: innovate, document, improve work methods, standardize, provide a safe work environment, and require safe work practices, train, commission equipment, collect, measure, and analyze key performance indicators to improve processes. Help manage vendor support and equipment relationships. Recruit, interview, and hire talent for the build crew. Manage the work schedule of the staff Cleaning and preparing construction sites. Loading and unloading materials and equipment Working with a variety of power tools Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures. Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment. Following instructions from supervisors and implementing production plans Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties Maintain and ensure the show is working properly Job Requirements Strong communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with high expectations. Minimum 18 years of age or older Physical demands: Able to stand/walk for the duration of a 6-8+ hour shift in all weather conditions Be able to lift 50 lbs Benefits Include: Wide pay range and future opportunities for advancement Free tickets for Christmas in Color On-site training Pay Range: Starting at $25/hr more depending on experience Employment length: 3-4 months (October- End of January) Typical start time: Pre-Event Step-up (8am-5pm) (Event 4-10pm) Times may vary.
