Description
We are looking for a Rock Star Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to join our team.
Position Summary:
Responsible for scheduling and dispatching deliveries of concrete throughout Denver and the surrounding area efficiently and according to customer specifications while optimizing available resources.
Duties:
Answers the phone, by first identifying themselves with their name.
Enters all the required information (including date of delivery, delivery address and directions, type of mix, order quantity, slump, any special delivery/instructions or directions, start time, truck type, spacing, job site safety hazards, etc.) directly into the Command dispatch system, while the customer is on the phone
Ensure accuracy of delivery address.
Ensures the customer understands all relevant company policies such as for will-call orders, load limits, additional products, over amount ordered, extra charges, and driver responsibilities.
Reads the order back to the customer to verify that all the information is correct.
Gives the customer their order number and asks if he or she can be of any other help before ending the phone call.
Makes changes to future and current day orders with customers on the phone.
Calls and informs the customer if a truck is going to be late to their job.
Ensures the schedule is accurate and up to date, so others can rely on the display for decision making.
Organize daily paperwork for BookKeeper.
The ideal candidate is required to be customer focused, with the following skills:
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and motivational skills
Proven record of dependability
Good attention to detail
Proven record of dependability
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
