Heavy Blues anyone?

Description

I play with an established band in the QCs-area, but am looking for something else to do that both allows me to get out the stuff I cannot with my other band and also gives me something to let loose with and enjoy. Everyone needs some "side action," don't they? I'm looking for players who are interested in or even versed in the ways of Heavy Blues. It's low, it's groovy, it's dense and it's tight. Original music composed in this vein is my primary interest, but I'd also like to arrange variations of "standards" with our own band voice, as well. Band writing sessions, rehearsals, recording time, live performances, etc. are all targets / goals I'm game for aiming at. If you are a bass player, contact me. If you are a drummer, contact me. If you are a keys player, contact me. If you are a steel player, contact me. If you are a fiddle player, contact me. If you are a horn player, contact me. Notice that I did not encourage guitar players to contact me. Send me a note and let's chat. Ideas are always welcome and individuals with actual intent to follow through and make something happen are definitely appreciated most.
