ISO Drummer for Shoegaze/Alt-Rock Band

Our new band is looking for the right drummer to complete the line-up for an alt-rock/post-punk/shoe-gaze-type cover band. Female lead vocals, guitars, bass and some backing vocals are in place. Bands of interest/influence include Audioslave, Blur, Catherine Wheel, Concrete Blonde, Curve, Bowie, Heart, My Bloody Valentine, Liz Phair, Phantogram, PJ Harvey, Polica, Pretenders, Queen, Radiohead, Ride, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Slowdive, Stereolab, Stone Temple Pilots, Talking Heads, Throwing Muses, TV on the Radio, and X (to name a few). We are open to other genres and writing/performing originals as we gain momentum. Practicing together at least once a week and gigging 1-2 times a month will be ideal (vs club/bar rotation). We have a full practice space in Dunedin. Give a shout if this is your thing too.
