A fast-growing national company is looking for an ongoing experienced technician for hire on a per project basis to run Cat5 or Cat6 network cable for IP cameras at various pet boarding facilities in Denver and the surrounding areas. The ability to terminate cables with RJ45 connection ends is required. In many cases, cameras will need to be mounted as well - which can include indoor and/or outdoor locations. Here is a typical scope of work to be completed: - Run cabling to each of IP camera. Network cable must be run to code with proper strain relief and attention to detail for aesthetics. - Cables terminated with RJ45 connectors. - Cameras to be mounted using the provided mounting equipment. Outdoor cameras need to have weatherproofed connections and junction boxes where applicable. - Connect the Cat5e / Cat6 cable to the existing network router and cameras. - Cables need to be checked for continuity and verified. Cameras need to be connected into the network. - Cable will be provided. You will need the following tools/skills: - RJ45 Crimp Tool - RJ45 connection ends - Cable tester for checking continuity - Install tools such as a drill, hammers, ladders etc... pretty basic You might have to drill some interior-holes through drywall to run cables. Most areas will be easily accessible. Please have experience installing security camera and web/ip camera systems. Send resume and/or pics of jobs completed plus contact information with reply.
