Arvada Broomfield Westminster Bullard Tree Care is now hiring for the following positions: General Laborer: Responsible for cleanup work such as raking, leaf blowing, using a wood chipper and stump grinder and chainsaw after training, moving furniture, and maintaining a safe job site. After training this person will also prune shrubs, shear hedges, and assist in landscaping projects. Must have a drivers license, reliable vehicle, relatable work experience, and be able to lift 100lbs Starting Pay: $20 per hour, more for the right person. Bullard Tree Care will pay for select training classes to expand your knowledge and abilities if interested. Climbing Arborist: Must have ISA certification, must have a drivers license and reliable transportation. You will have all the responsibilities of the above laborer position plus all other common actions for this industry. Most of the work we do is maintenance pruning medium and small shrubs and trees. We do not use bucket trucks. We also remove trees, grind stumps, plant a lot of trees, build mulch and garden beds, and small landscaping projects. We have a new KUBOTA SCL 1000 to do the heavy lifting and digging, but you still need to be able to lift 100lbs and work up to 12hours on occasion. Tree work is hard. Besides having arboriculture knowledge, the climbing arborist is required to have great skill in the areas of professionalism and communication. Starting Pay: $30 per hour, more for the right person. How many hours per week are available? Answer: about 25 hours per week when it’s cold, about 50 hours per week when it’s hot. This is a seasonal industry and the work fluctuates.
