Flex-Staff is seeking a 1st Shift CNC Machinist for our busy Plover client! The perfect candidate will be competent in their trade and have lathe machine experience. This is a Temp to Hire position and/or Direct Hire for the right candidate. Shift: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-3:00PM Pay: $20-24 per hour. Pay dependent upon experience Job Duties: Studying blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to help determine dimensions for finished work piece, setup and operation sequence. Preparing and setting up machines for operation Operating and observing machine operations to help detect malfunctions or tooling problems Confirming quality of finished product by checking dimensions, measurements, etc. Measuring, marking, and scribing workpiece to lay out for machining Utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments Performing minor machine maintenance Making special jigs and fixtures as needed Requirements: Journeyman Certification preferred, or a 2-year certification from a college or tech school along with specific trade knowledge of machine tool operation Previous experience in the field, including working with lathe machines Experience with vertical and horizontal mill machines is a plus Benefits: 401(k) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Term Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance Please apply on our web-site at www.flexstaff.com or submit a resume with the auto reply email for this post.
