Drywall/painter needed at Sid Grinker Restoration

Sid Grinker Restoration, a local expert in multi-family, residential, and commercial property restoration, is hiring experienced drywall repair and painting technicians. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years professional experience doing drywall repair and painting. Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage, health, dental and vision insurance, and 401k match. Payroll is run weekly. This role offers full-time, permanent year round employment. POSITION DETAILS -Wage starting $18-25/hour depending on experience -Skim coat and perform repairs to damaged drywall ceilings and walls -Piece-in and install drywall after water damage, tape and finish -Blend in and match textures of existing drywall -Ability to perform repairs so they are not visible -Install full sheets of drywall, tape and finish (up to 10 sheets) -Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler. -Select premixed paints, or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors. -Paint surfaces with brushes, spray gun (conventional or airless), or paint rollers -Set up scaffolding or ladders to perform tasks above ground level. -Work in a clean and tidy manner. Daily clean up. Work areas are often still occupied -Ability to work safely, with others, and around occupants -Ability to travel to various worksites in a suitable vehicle, primarily around the Racine/Kenosha area
