Full-time carpenter with knowledge of finish and punch out carpentry needed for construction of an apartment complex in the Domain. Shift starts at 7:00 AM. Monday - Friday. Overtime offered! The estimated length of the assignment is 8 to 9 weeks. After the punch list is created, the punchout technician reviews it to determine what repairs are needed. Must be able to repair trim, molding, drywall, and replace any hardware that might be missing from cabinets or doors. Responsible for supporting the assigned project by building, maintaining, and repairing various components of work in place during all phases of construction. Knowledge, previous experience, and your own set of tools are required. WORK LISTING: Assist in building various forms of structures for residential construction sites. Participate in demolitions and reconstruction tasks. Provides layouts and positions. Joins, aligns, and seals various forms of components such as concrete, wood, and metal wall sections and pipes. Erect temporary structures and scaffolding. Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks. Consistently maintain safety standards on the job site. Position Specific: Ensure work is completed according to measurements, specifications, drawings, plans, or other production materials/instructions. Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed including but not limited to safe lifting, and personal protective equipment. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience *0-3 years experience in Construction. Skills *Basic Field-Oriented duties such as Plumbing, Framing, and Drywall. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to reach and bend using 2-step stool while safely lifting and lowering boxes. Ability to travel to and from training sessions to include OSHA. WORKING CONDITIONS: Indoor and outdoor field conditions. May be exposed to weather conditions.
