FARMHAND at NORTH STAR HORSE FARM IMMEDIATE OPENINGS Interviewing for stall cleaners FIRST but all are welcome to apply PART-TIME * SEASONAL * VOLUNTEER TO APPLY, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR FORM HERE: RESPONSIBILITIES Care of Horses: ⁃ Watering and feeding ⁃ Turn out/in ⁃ Visual checkups to determine health ⁃ Grooming when applicable Barn Chores ⁃ Stall cleaning ⁃ Manure spreading/disposal ⁃ Mucking out paddocks ⁃ Garbage collection and removal ⁃ Sweep and maintain aisles Barn & Out Buildings Maintenance ⁃ Clean, water & drag indoor arena and muck paddocks ⁃ Repair of fencing ⁃ Care of barn infrastructure QUALIFICATIONS: ⁃ General knowledge of horses and their care ⁃ Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as a team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ⁃ 1 year practical experience in equine field. ⁃ High School diploma / GED ⁃ Valid driver’s license ⁃ Knowledgeable and trainable in farm machinery operation ⁃ Strong verbal and written communication skills
