Job Description: Property management company looking for a Maintenance Technician to fill full-time position (40hrs/wk) in the *South/East side of Chicago*. This individual will be responsible for all maintenance needs for 150+ units. All properties are located 3-5 mins from each other. Duties: -Must communicate effectively with tenants and staff -Conduct all maintenance work, work order requests, building inspections, and preventative maintenance -Ensure that all work has been completed in a safe, prompt, and professional manner -Complete work order documentation provided by Supervisor -Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and make " adequate decisions". -Must be able to multi-task -Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs. -Must be able to stand for long periods of time -Additional tasks or duties assigned by Supervisor Requirements: -Must have carpentry, electric, plumbing, and HVAC experience (3+ years) -Must have work equipment/tools -Must have a valid driver's license -MUST have reliable transportation Benefits: Paid Vacations.
