We are a large rental car fleet with locations across the US. Our customers are constantly picking up and returning vehicles which need to be inspected and cleaned by this position before and after each reservation. The guests use an app to pick up their vehicles and therefore normally require no in-person interactions. This position also utilizes a phone app to submit inspection reports. Responsibilities • Inspect incoming cars for damages and document any new damages or scratches identified. • Refuel cars back to their pre-trip gas level as needed (using a company CC). • Clean all returned cars and prepare them for their next trip. • Inspect dashboard to make sure no oil change light or engine or air pressure lights are on. • Inspect license plates to make sure they are up to date. • Make sure cars are up to sanitary standard and expectations. • Refill air to tires as needed. • Inspect cars for smoke smells and other damages that require a fine and report charges in inspection report • Inspect each returned car to make sure it is returned in the same condition it went out, verify car keys are returned. • Driving cars to service centers and jumping dead batteries as needed. • Travel to and from our gas lot to gas station/ car shop. Requirements Job Type: Full-time 5 days a week, weekends too Flexible Availability, Scheduling and Worksite Have a reliable transportation to/ from work Be on time, reliable and responsible Comfortable with common cleaning products and household cleaners Basic Understanding and experience working with cars Good driving record Valid driver’s License Age 19 or Older We are an equal opportunity employer.
