HB Staffing is proud to be working with a local, Huntington Beach manufacturing company and their need to hire Assemblers! Schedule: 1st and 2nd Shift available; Monday-Friday, NO WEEKENDS! Pay Rate: $16-$17/hr Full time, and OT depending on production The Assembly Production Team Member is a critical role within the company and has a direct impact on the quality and quantity of products that our client provides to its customers. The primary purpose of this position is to fill customer orders by selecting, sorting, testing and assembling components into completed plumbing faucets and fixtures. When performing these jobs, the following activities are required: • Assembling plumbing systems and fixtures (spouts, valves, showerheads, etc.) • Water pressure and flow testing on required assemblies. • Inspection of finished components during assembly to conform to quality standards. • Following instructions and locating parts on Pick Tickets. • Notifying team leader of quality variances and parts shortages. • Operate hand tools and push carts. • Efficiently pick parts orders for final assembly, ensuring the correct number and type of part is obtained. • Carry or transport orders to different staging areas utilizing material handling equipment. • Read and count accurately, perform simple math, write legibly. • Scan tickets into the ERP computer system and occasionally retrieve order information. • Performing corrective maintenance on water systems such as valves and blow-offs. Education and Experience: The minimum educational requirement to successfully perform this position is a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. The ideal candidate has at least six (6) months experience performing similar work in a related field.
