Position Summary: Looking to hire an experienced Warehouse/Shipping/Production Associate starting ASAP! This is a great opportunity for a hard-working, reliable individual looking for a long-term job. The Associate will work on various production machines including, but not limited to, digital presses, a drill press, a paper cutter, different binding machines, computer, etc. Essential to success is a focus on safety in all actions taken by the Associate. Requirements: • Valid driver’s license required • High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED) is required • Stable work history: 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment • Basic computer skills; data entry • Record of safety, dependability, and reliability • Note: Large dog on premises, must be able to work around company dog in building Qualifications: It’s a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for 90% - 95% of your shift. It also gets loud. Indoor warehouse working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather. • Ability to work in an environment with regular exposure to factors such as warm and cold temperatures • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, twist, stack, and maneuver (lift and/or carry) objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 50 lbs • Ability to read, learn, understand, retain and apply new knowledge and carry out safety instructions and other written procedures which includes a commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills • Good math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and accurate number identification • Ability to read a tape measure and apply basic math and computer skills • Ability to set up and process manufacturing work orders correctly and verify computations against physical count of stock • Ability to perform the duties of the shipping, receiving and stocking operations and keep track of warehouse inventory and stock and all other paperwork as needed • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines • Well-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker • Flexibility and willingness to learn and accept changes in job duties • Strong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level • Operate a hand-truck and pallet jack as needed within the scope of job Responsibilities include: • Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods. • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles • Proofread to ensure accuracy of information. Ensure information adequately contains all necessary data. • Attention to detail, cooperative attitude, solid work ethic, and teamwork are essential • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition • Active engagement and a strong commitment to all aspects of safety and safety programs • Complete all assigned duties in compliance with company policies and procedures • Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
