Fiscally I lean conservative. I do not believe our government should be wasting taxpayer money.
With that said, one thing to consider is that when our government does spend money on things like infrastructure, emergency services, military, healthcare, etc, that money does not just evaporate. The money that government spends goes back into the private sector. Government spending feeds our economy. Government spent money trickles down through the wage classes.
Amereicas should opposed to government waste, but not government spending money.
