This informational class is targeted towards Black families. The purpose is to discuss the homebuying process and the path to get there. This event is FREE! Lunch will be provided. We will discuss the homebuying process and why it is beneficial for Black families to purchase a home. Topics will include: Credit RepairThe Homebuying ProcessBenefits of owning a home& Much More!Guest Speakers: Ellen Bernards, Assistant Vice President - Mortgage Loan Officer, State Bank of Cross Plains - will discuss the lending side of homebuying. Afra Smith, Financial Wellness Coach, The Melanin Project - will discuss behavioral strategies that support building wealth. If you need financial coaching beforehand, contact [email protected].
