Bring your fave film camera, some film, and wander the waterfront with your film loving friends. Calling all Film Photographers! Highlighting Glazer's Film of the Month for October & November, CineStill, we thought it would be fun to explore Seattle, as the sun sets, capturing the city as it comes to life in a different way. Seeking out neon signs, city lights, and beyond, this will be a fun excursion along the water front. WHERE TO MEET We will meet up at the Great Wheel, spend a little time there then meander towards the ferry terminals. WHAT TO BRING All types of film cameras are welcome, from instant to 35mm to medium format. Own a large-format, feel free to join too. Your fave film camera and lensSlightly higher speed film 800 could be great to try + Check out CineStill 800T (Tungsten) filmTripod if you want to explore some slower shutter speeds (optional)*Your Photowalk leader Kate will plan to bring a few portable LED Lights to add in some light for portraits too.* This is going to be a great opportunity to meet some film enthusiasts in the Seattle area, geek out about our love of analogue and different film stocks and techniques and of course, take some photographs. COVID-19 and SafetyVaccinated attendees will not be required to wear a mask. However, at the beginning of the event, we will have a quick conversation about the safety and comfort of attendees. Since this is an outside event, staying safe and being a bit socially distant is much easier! This event has limited space, as a result, registration is required for each attendee, if you are planning to bring a guest, please register for them as well.
