We are a rapidly growing, fast paced restoration company in Jacksonville. We specialize in water, fire, mold and biohazard restoration (biohazard remediation but is not required to be considered for employment). We service commercial and residential customers locally as well as other cities within a 2 hour radius. Our growth is the result of performing quality work and providing exceptional customer service. Since PuroClean is a leader in emergency property restoration services, the position of a Field Restoration Technician carries a lot of responsibility. Field Technicians are one of the first individuals to respond to emergency losses which is why we are known as the "Paramedics of Property Damage". Our technicians are calm in emergency situations. They provide the expertise and professionalism needed to help families and businesses overcome devastating setbacks. You will work alongside other team members and, post training, you will have the opportunity to work independently and manage other technicians. Military background and/or restoration experience is a huge plus but not required. Requirements for our Field Technicians: • Excellent interpersonal skills • Punctual to work and appointments • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. • Have reliable transportation • Pass criminal background check and maintain a clean record • Pass and maintain clean drug testing • Have and maintain a valid drivers license • Have and maintain a good driving record • Ability to drive mid sized vehicles • High School Diploma or equivalent • Able to be on an on-call rotation and deploy for after-hours emergency jobs. • Able to lift and carry equipment that weighs 50- 80 pounds • Basic computer skills General Duties: • Provide restoration services for commercial and residential structures and/or contents damaged by fire, mold, water, and biohazard. ( Biohazard remediation is optional and not required to be considered for employment.) • Perform water extraction, carpet/floor drying and cleaning, mold and mildew remediation, deodorization/decontamination, demolition, debris removal, and customer contents pack-outs. • Demolish and/or remove damaged plumbing, drywall, appliances, cabinets and other related materials. • Perform estimates and sketches using Xactimate estimating software and data entry into our company software • Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. • Perform daily monitoring on water losses. • Complete and enter daily job notes/tasks assigned to your jobs. • Vehicle and equipment general maintenance and cleaning. • Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and customers. • Follow all OSHA guidelines and procedures on all jobs Don't have experience on any of the duties listed above? Everyone needs playtime, right?! • Annual Christmas dinner/party and more. Paid training starts at $14/hr. Pay for trained and Certified Field Technicians is $16.25/hr. Also available: Technician Assistant Assisting with water damage, which may include, water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, light construction and demolition as directed by a supervisor. Assist with fire damage remediation and mold remediation. Packing, moving and cleaning/remediation of affected contents. No experience required but it is a plus. Must be willing to learn and must be able to perform manual/general labor. Must have a valid drivers license. Must pass drug and background check. Must be punctual. Staff will support you and assist with your growth. Annual paid vacation and paid holidays after 90 days. Opportunities for advancement Overtime is available. We are hiring immediately. Hourly pay starts at $11.00. After 30 day probationary period pay is increased to $12.00. I will promptly reply to emails and this ad is still up then we are still hiring!
