Join the Lafayette Historical Society for a free walking tour of the spooky side of Lafayette History! Join your guides Olivia Meikle, host of What'sHerName podcast, or Krista Barry, director of the Miners Museum, for a free Halloween History tour of Old Town Lafayette! Bring your flashlight and meet the spirits that haunt our town, discover the legends that shaped our community, and learn the true secrets of the Wild West's only vampire! The tour begins in front of the Mary Miller Theater and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Attendees must be able to walk approximately one mile over occasionally-uneven terrain. Please bring a flashlight! Masks strongly encouraged. Sponsored by the Lafayette Historical Society and What'sHerName Podcast. If the weather forecast predicts heavy rain, thunderstorms, blizzard conditions, or temperatures below 30 ° during the time a specific tour is scheduled to run, that tour will be automatically cancelled and ticket holders will be emailed to reschedule.
