We are looking for packaging inspectors for a plastics manufacturer located in Pompano Beach, FL. This is an entry level position paying $13.50/hr. Schedule- 2 shifts available 7am to 7pm, and 7pm-7am. MUST be able to work on Saturday and Sunday. Requirements of packaging inspector: • Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively • Must be able to work on the weekends (alternating based on schedule) • Must have basic math skills- add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals • Must be able to pass a national criminal background check and drug screen Responsibilities of packaging inspector: • Measure product, and document findings. • Understand all aspects of product quality, and apply them to scheduled quality check. • Read and comprehend extrusion order form as it pertains to their position. • Maintain all items needed to keep production line running pertaining to packaging, i.e. Boxes, cores, inserts. • Wearing required personal protective equipment. • Make boxes. • Cut cores if needed. • Package material.
