The Graduate College of Education at SF State will host a Remembrance Celebration for Dr. Pam Hunt on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 2- 3:30pm A Remembrance Celebration for Dr. Pam Hunt will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021, 2:00pm - 3:30pm on the SF State campus; outside lawn area adjacent to Burk Hall. Dr. Hunt was a cherished faculty member in the Graduate College of Education who dedicated her life’s work to the students and faculty in the Department of Special Education.Directions and Parking Information:https://parking.sfsu.edu/visitor-information/driving-directionsParking is located at SF State's parking Lot 20 located on Lake Merced Boulevard and State Drive. Fee: $6.25 for two hours or $10.00 for the day .A video of the remembrance will be made available for anyone who could not attend. A person-centered planning process creates an individualized plan of study aligned with the student’s personal, academic and career goals. This is an exciting development on the university campus where Pam has been based as Professor of Special Education, and with her colleagues, prepared scores of teachers of students with extensive needs, and conducted leading, innovative research for the field as Principal Investigator of an extensive series of federally funded research grants awarded to her, working with school communities and included students with disabilities as the focus of her research. American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals National organization Pam was committed to animals and a long- term supporter of the SPCA.
