Learn how to do bookbinding while creating hand-bound books that will be distributed to children in Beacon Volunteers are needed on November 18 and 19 from 3pm-5pm to assemble children's books for distribution during the Give a Cluck for Kids Gift Drop. We will be using a simple stitch technique and working at the Beacon Rec Center. Volunteers can also opt to take books home and work on them. The event will take place outdoors under a pavilion (the library is not scheduling indoor events). Hot chocolate will be served! Experience is not necessary! If you enjoy crafts, are detail oriented and like to give back, this is a terrific opportunity.
