Dear Friends and Partners, During this unprecedented time, as a foundation, we are struggling to serve our community due to lack of funding. This November, Heads Up Foundation will be hosting its annual Gala to support Inglewood and South Central families with preparing for the school year. At the event, Heads Up Foundation board members and community volunteers will also recognize our “Undercover Heroes”, those that have worked in the bac ground tirelessly as we provide essential items for our families in need. We are seeking in-kind donations and sponsors to support this event, and have attached a sponsorship sheet for your review. We hope you will join us for this event on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Maya Hotel in Long Beach, CA. Your support will help us make sure hundreds of youth and their families will be equipped with the tools they need and feel confident to continue the year strong. The Heads Up Foundation is committed to its motto of “Reach Back and Help Someone”, providing direct support and resources to students and families to take care of their wellbeing and empower them to help their communities. Our team consists of volunteers and professionals from within the community dedicated to enhancing the abilities of our youth, young adults, and families who need our support.
