YOU'RE INVITED to the Houston BIRTH EVENT of 2021! Melanated Birth Fair, Birth worker Mix and Mingle, Wellness Market and fundraiser! Hello Houston! We are so excited about the Aligned and Melanated Birth and Wellness Gathering that debuts on October 24, 2021 from 12-5pm at 218 Westscott St. Houston, Texas 77007. This is event aims to bring the birth community together and really puts the emphasis on COMMUNITY. At this gathering, we are able to see who is in our community, what we need, and how we can come together to elevate the birth narrative for our expectant families. We're calling all physicians, chiropractors, midwives, doulas, perinatal nurses, birth photographers, childbirth educators, lactation consultants, massage therapists, herbalists, yoni steam practioners, holistic wellness artisans and makers, mommy bloggers, child birth advocates, maternal non profit organizers,mental health providers, anyone connected to birth and women's health in any capacity, and of course FAMILIES to join us. Our Birth Fair will provide you with resourses. Our Mix and Mingle is co-hosted with Holimama of the Woman's Earth and is for birth workers to have an open conversation on how we're stronger together and when unified we go further. We're also supporting a local non profit,The Diaper Foundation with a Diaper and Wipe Drive.The Diaper Foundation "aims to keep every child clean, dry, and healthy- one diaper at a time. With the shortage happening in Houston and the overall costs of diapers and wipes, we're here to support local families.Please bring your donations on the day of the event.
