Description
I am a little backed into a corner with this decision.
We got Dan as a puppy from a facebook rescue. We got him at about 16 weeks old. I had a DNA test done on him and he is almost exactly 50/50 German Shepard Border Collie. He has been a good boy for the most part, he listens well on walks even off leash. However, he is a high energy dog, and with two kids it was hard to feel like he was getting all the play that he needed in a day. A friend of mine had a puppy her brother couldnt keep anymore and we named her Sophie (pit bull/husky). While the two get along so well and played so good together, I thought I had found Dan a friend to keep him company but unfortunately they have fueled each others habits. They are both so sweet and individually I think they have so much potential but I am not equipped to give them the direction and exercise that they so clearly need. Hoping I can rehome them while they are still young enough to be good dogs for someone. I do not think they should be adopted together. If you can provide a better home please email, with any questions.
