Men's Round Up features Tex Brown at Krause's Cafe & Biergarten | Nov 9, 2021 Tex Brown is a retired 3 star general from the USAF. He was raised a preacher's kid, then attended TCU to play baseball, but graduated in 1970 as an Air Force officer going to pilot training. After receiving his silver wings he flew the A-1 Skyraider for 1 year in combat in Southeast Asia and was awarded 3 Silver Stars and 8 Distinguished Flying Crosses. Later he commanded an F-16 squadron in Germany and then 2 Wings and much later the Air Force Personnel Center at Randolph AFB. Tex retired from the USAF in 2004 as the Asst Vice Chief of Staff in the Pentagon, where he was on Sept 11, 2001. He and his wife Ann moved back to Texas in 2011 and they have 3 kids and 10 grand kids. Come hear his story. Fellowship starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner and speaker. Ticket includes meal.
