About Felipe StaitiContemporary to the winery, Felipe keeps a busy schedule due to his first love: Music. He happens to be a successful rock guitar player, multiple times nominated to the Grammy awards with his Latin rock band: Los Enanitos Verdes. Has performed for more than 40 years in thousands of venues, including the Hollywood Bowl (LA, California), Radio City (NY), among many others. Felipe Staiti Wines it's a family owned winery. Felipe, who leads the family, started the project in 2012 with Marcelo Pelleriti, his friend and famous enologist in Pomerol - France and Mendoza - Argentina. Because of their ancestors, Felipe and his two sons have always had a very strong bond with Italy and its culture and in 2018 a major expansion took place for the winery. It started the Italian based division of the company producing Prosecco Famiglia Staiti. About Marcelo Pelleriti, the enologist Marcelo Pelleriti has managed to become a benchmark for worldwide enology. His career has led this young Argentine professional to stand among the best and today it is the only Latin American winemaker to obtain 100 points by Robert Parker. Has over 30 vintages of experience between Argentina and France, learned to play the vineyard, and achieve excellent results in the production of its wines which are recognized worldwide. About the Wine Argentina, Valle de Uco - Mendoza Our vineyards are situated at the foot of the Andes Mountains in the heart of the Uco Valley, one of the main viniculture regions in Argentina. It is located at a distance of 120 kilometers from the city of Mendoza in the Clos de los Siete group of properties in Vista Flores, Tunuyán. The property comprises 130 hectares (321 acres) at an altitude between 1,000 and 1,200 meters above sea level. The land slopes towards the north and east, giving it the best exposure to sunlight in the southern hemisphere. Italy, Veneto Famiglia Staiti Prosecco DOC is produced in the neighbouring regions of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia in north-eastern Italy. Situated in between the Dolomite mountain range and the warm, Adriatic sea, the Prosecco region enjoys a mild microclimate with generous rainfall and sunshine. The lush, green hills surrounding Trieste, Treviso and Padua are home to thousands of hectares of vineyards, interrupted only by ancient churches and picturesque villages.
