Colonial Court Apartments is currently looking for Maintenance Personnel. As our Maintenance Personnel you would handle work orders and other special projects within our property. Interact regularly with our tenants, management staff and outside contractors. If you are self-motivated, hard-working, with an energetic and positive attitude come join our team. Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience handling repairs that involve the following skills: · Previous maintenance experience preferred, but not required will train the right candidate. · Plumbing (repair / installation of faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, and toilets. Also, clearing of stopped drain lines and other plumbing issues) · Electrical (repair/replacement of outlet, switches and light fixture, replace light bulbs, test fire alarms, and minor electrical repair) · Appliance Repair (basic troubleshooting, minor repair and maintenance of gas ranges and refrigerators) · Carpentry · Drywall patching and repair · Ability to communicate efficiently to property manager & tenants · Ability to work independently & efficiently Responsibilities: · Ability to work outside in all weather conditions for grounds maintenance to include snow removal, landscaping, and trash clean up. · Complete work orders assigned to them in a timely manner based on priority. · Prepare vacant apartments to rent ready units with the appropriate attention to detail. Perform repairs and updates as necessary. · Physically Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and able to occasionally lift 80+ pounds with assistance if needed. · Able to climb various sized ladders and going into crawl spaces. · Able to respond to emergency maintenance situations after business hours one week per month. Required: Valid driver’s license and own mode of transportation with insurance. Must have own basic tools, but specialty tools will be provided.
