Here's a rundown of some of the best haunted happenings in and around our County this month. Spooky Symphony at Miami-Dade County Auditorium The Miami-Dade County Auditorium invites children and families to come celebrate Halloween on Sunday, Oct. 24 with an hour of eerie classics and popular movie themes, accompanied by projected images behind a huge orchestra. Wear your costume and join in the fun of this popular free annual event. Spooky Science Monster Mash at Frost Science MuseumDabble in some bone-chilling science experiments at the Frost Science Museum's 5th Annual Spooky Science Monster Mash on Saturday, Oct. 30. Bring the kids in costume and let them explore all the frightful fun the Frost Science Museum has to offer. Dr. Frankenstein would be impressed. MiChiMu's Halloween Week at Miami Children's MuseumSpooktacular delights await you this Halloween week at Miami Children's Museum. Kick off the weeklong celebration at a special Mini Monster Monday on Monday, Oct. 25. On the weekend, join them for trick or treating and other events throughout the day. Zoo Boo at Zoo MiamiFamilies and kids ages 12 and under are invited Halloween weekend to trick or treat in costumes, participate in costume contests, meet special characters, make Halloween crafts and see the wild animals get their Halloween goodies. Halloween at Fairchild at Fairchild Botanical GardensThis year, Halloween is 2 weeks of spooky fun at Fairchild Botanical Gardens. From kid-friendly to the more sinister, find an event that interests you. Before you go trick-or-treating, check out these safety tips from Miami-Dade Police.
