No gravel for substrate, only sand or tiles. They are species only meaning they cannot live with fish or snails. 20g minimum for 1 axolotl, add 10g for every other axolotl. (ex: 55g tank can house 4 axolotls) 10g tank is too small for one axolotl. They can grow to be 12 inches long. PM for more info on care.
